On the Norfolk Broads: Day 3

Our last full day on the Norfolk Broads: from Barton Water we cruised back to the main river, Bure, and slowly towards Wroxham, popping up the Ranworth Church tower, poking into Malthouse and Salhouse Broads along the way and stopping for the night in Wroxham Broad (where we saw the sailing race on our first day).

A flurry flower of ducks

I’m not sure if the ducks take any notice of this sign to them in a Ranworth shop!

Weathervane atop the church tower

89 steeply winding stone steps, 2 ladders and a trap door to get up the church tower and then down again.

My last photo from our Norfolk Broad holiday: spending the night back on Wroxham Broad, ready to hand back the boat early the following morning.

Shelducklings

I came across this Shelducklings (their parents flew off as I came round the corner) and they raced towards me. As I knelt down with my camera they suddenly realised I wasn’t their mummy after all.
